Delicious Dining Experience

The restaurant at Blyde Canyon was a good surprise! I enjoyed both the buffet and a la carte options, especially the steak and calamari. The dining area had a lovely log fire that added to the cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend the buffet; it has a great variety of dishes for everyone.

Spacious Self-Catering Chalets

I stayed in a two-bedroom family chalet that was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was well-equipped allowing us to prepare our own meals, and the outdoor area with a braai stand was an excellent addition for family gatherings. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean.

Fantastic Hiking Trails

The hiking trails near the resort are amazing! I hiked the Leopard Trail, and the views of the canyon were absolutely awe-inspiring. It's essential to start early for the best experience, and I enjoyed every moment of the adventure. The marked paths made it easy for me to navigate.

Convenient Parking Facilities

My stay was pleasant overall, with a lovely relaxed atmosphere and enjoyable amenities. The chalet was spacious and the resort offered a nice range of activities, but I found the pricing to be a bit on the higher side, especially for just two guests. I would suggest considering a day visit instead of an overnight stay during the winter when it can get quite chilly.

While the location was perfect for exploring the Panorama Route and the hiking trails were fantastic, I found the accommodations to be lacking.
